Heidelberg Wind Ensemble
The HWE is a performance ensemble modelled on the Eastman Wind Ensemble concept and is designed to appeal to the skilled amateur/professional musician who wants to perform in a wind ensemble dealing with the serious and challenging wind ensemble repertoire.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:30 pm at the Locksley Arts Centre Rehearsal Room, Ivanhoe Grammar School.
Robertson Youth Orchestra
The RYO is an ensemble for intermediate level orchestral players which develops skills and techniques of orchestral performance and gives the opportunity for players to interact in a monitored social environment.
THe RYO rehearses every Wednesday during school term in the St James Parish Centre, Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe from 6.45 to 9pm.
Junior Strings of Banyule
The JSB is a forum for young string players which aims to develop and acquire the players essential orchestral and music performance skill in a fun, learning environment.
The JSB rehearses every Wednesday during school term in the St James Parish Centre, Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe from 5.00 to 6.30pm.

The Heidelberg Wind Ensemble (HWE) is a newer ensemble which performs music from the wind ensemble repertoire whilst our junior groups RYO & JSB are designed to give younger players the opportunity to refine and develop orchestral performance skills in a fun, learning environment.

Tickets can be purchased online or by printing and filling out the booking form here, or by calling the Concert Manager on (03) 9005 1792.
Tickets to all other concerts including HWE, RYO/JSB and Childrens Concerts are also available either online or by calling the Concert Manager.
