Robertson Youth Orchestra & Junior Strings of Banyule

Getting kids excited about the world of classical music is what HOI youth ensembles are all about. RYO and JSB concerts introduce the wonders of great music into the lives of both primary and secondary school students.

Each youth concert includes music specially chosen for young audiences to play and enjoy.

Captivating and compelling, these interactive concerts are led by the respective orchestra conductors and introduce the wide spectrum of classical music to young people and families.

In 2011, our youth ensembles, the Robertson Youth Orchestra and Junior Strings of Banyule will be performing on the following dates: 

 

Saturday, May 14th at 7.30pm

Venue: Performing Arts Centre, Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School, Ivanhoe

Saturday, Sept 3rd at 7.30pm

Venue: Performing Arts Centre, Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School, Ivanhoe

Saturday, December 3rd at 5.30 pm

Venue: Performing Arts Centre, Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School, Ivanhoe

Because of the limited seating available for a joint concert with the HSO, the December RYO/JSB concert will be held prior to the main HSO concert at 5.30pm and will last for approx. 1 hour .

Separate (non reserved) tickets are available for this concert priced at $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.
If you wish to stay for the main HSO concert, you only need to pay the HSO concert ticket price as below, which entitles you to attend both performances (subject to seating availability for the HSO concert).
