Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra will be performing two educational children’s concerts on Sunday July 25, 2010 at 2pm and 3.30pm.
Designed especially for children and families, these concerts provide an excellent opportunity to learn about different instruments, their orchestral families and the role of the conductor in addition to experiencing a symphony orchestra performance perform live.
This year, Christopher Carolane (the narrator) will begin both concerts with an educational session, ‘All About the Orchestra’ and then Heidelberg Symphony will perform a range of well-known and popular music from traditional symphonic repertoire and the cinema.
Each concert will run for approximately 45 minutes and will be held at the Performing Arts Centre, Ivanhoe Girls Grammar School, Upper Heidelberg Road, Ivanhoe.
Tickets are $5.00 each ( child, concession, adult) and can be purchased online here

Please note that tickets purchased are transferable but not refundable. There is no limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased in a single transaction unlike previous years when restrictions applied.
