In Concert Two we welcome back two friends of the band, Jason Xanthoudakis, who will perform (past HWE principal Horn) David Keeffe’s “After the Fires” – Concerto for Bass Clarinet and Wind Band, a work commissioned by the soloist, plus the Australian Première of Ed Green’s “Symphony in Eb”. The composer, from America, will be in attendance for this performance.

The concert opens and includes toe-tapping pieces by Shostakovich and Bernstein, Russian and American music by master composers.
